Sometimes on the weekends, my mom and I have Mommy daughter day! We do different things like go shopping or go to breakfast. (I love Starbucks - we call it Starbies). OMG! My Book is in Barnes & Noble! 😱✨

Hey everyone, it’s Naevia! 👋🏾

I HAVE to tell you about one of the coolest moments of my life. Like, seriously, I’m still freaking out! So, the other day, my mom took me to Barnes & Noble, and guess what?! MY BOOK WAS ON THE SHELF! 😭🙌🏾

I walked in, and my heart was already beating super fast because I was hoping, just hoping, that maybe I’d see Naevia’s Magic Glasses sitting there like a real book… AND IT WAS! Right there, looking all cute and official next to a bunch of other books. But this one was MINE! A book that I wrote when I was 8 years old was sitting in a store where people can actually buy it.

I couldn’t stop smiling. I think I screamed a little (okay, maybe a lot 😆). I took, like, a million pictures, and my mom kept saying, “Naevia, you did this!” And she’s right. I worked SO hard on this book, and now it’s out in the world for other kids to read.

It still feels unreal. Like, how did I go from writing stories in my notebook to seeing my book in a real bookstore?! But you know what? If I can do it, so can YOU! If you have a story inside you, write it. Dream big. Believe in yourself. And one day, you might be standing in Barnes & Noble, looking at YOUR book on the shelf.
