The Thing-a-Magig Invention Convention

Reading to the kids with my Mom!
Reading to the kids with my Mom!

Hey everyone! It’s me, Naevia, and OMG, I have to tell you about the most AWESOME day ever! Let me tell you about the time I got to design Magic Glasses with the kids from the YMCA at the Thingamajig Invention Convention!

So Many Cool Creations!

The convention was HUGE! There were so many fun activities, but my favorite part was helping other kids make their very own Magic Glasses. I even got to read a page from Naevia’s Magic Glasses to everyone! It was so cool seeing kids get excited about creating glasses that could help them see amazing things—just like in my book!

My Own Table and Autographs!

I even had my own table where kids came to design their glasses with me! It felt so cool to have my own space, and I even signed a couple of autographs—like a real author! There were markers, stickers, and so many awesome designs.. Some kids made rainbow glasses, some made superhero glasses, and one kid even made glow-in-the-dark glasses—how cool is that?!

The Best Part

My Magic Glasses helped me see how happy everyone was. There were big smiles, bright colors, and so much creativity all around. It made me feel so good to share my story and see other kids use their imaginations to make something magical!

That day, I realized that inventions don’t have to be giant robots or fancy machines—sometimes, the best ideas come straight from your imagination. And thanks to the Thingamajig Invention Convention, we all got to create something super special together!
